Use the MAXIFS function to find the maximum value conditionally

The MAXIFS function returns the maximum value in a cell specified for a given set of criteria or criteria.

grammar

MAXIFS(max_range, criteria_range1, criteria1, [criteria_range2, criteria2], …)

max_range (Required) Determines the actual range of the cell with the maximum value.

A criteria_range1 (required) is a group of cells to be evaluated using conditions

criteria1 (required) defines which cells will be evaluated as the maximum value of a condition in a form for numbers, expressions, or text.

The same set of standards applies to MINIFS, SUMIFS, and AVERAGEIFS functions

criteria_range2,criteria2,… (Optional) Additional scope and conditions associated with it. You can enter up to 126 range/condition pairs.

Instructions

The size and shape of the max_range and criteria_rangeN arguments must be the same, otherwise these functions will return #VALUE! Mistake.
