Use RIGHTB function to intercept the last character

RightB returns the last character or characters in a text string based on the number of bytes specified. This function is used for double-byte characters.

RIGHTB(text,num_bytes)

Text is a string of text containing the characters to be extracted.

Num_bytes specifies the number of characters you want RIGHT to extract based on bytes.

Instructions

  • Num_bytes must be greater than or equal to 0.
  • If Num_bytes is greater than the text length, then RIGHT returns all text.
  • If Num_bytes is ignored, it is assumed to be 1.
