DEC2OCT(number, [places])
The DEC2OCT function syntax has the following parameters:
Number: Required, decimal integer to be converted. If the number is negative, places is ignored and DEC2OCT returns 10 characters (30 bits).
Octal number, where the highest bit is the sign bit. The remaining 29 bits are quantity bits. Negative numbers are represented by binary complement notation.
Places: Optional, number of characters to use. If places are omitted, DEC2OCT uses the minimum number of characters necessary. Places can be used in return
The value is preceded by 0 (zero).
