LARGE function

Returns the KTH largest value in the dataset. Use this function to select values based on relative criteria.

For example, you can use the function LARGE to get the first, second, or third place scores.

LARGE(array,k)

Array is the array or data area from which the KTH maximum value is to be selected.

K is the position of the return value in an array or region of data cells (from large to small rows).

Instructions

If the array is empty, LARGE returns the error value #NUM! .

If k ≤ 0 or k is greater than the number of data points, LARGE returns the error value #NUM! .

If the number of data points in the region is n, the function LARGE(array,1) returns the maximum value and the function LARGE(array,n) returns the minimum value.
