The MAXA function calculates the maximum value of the value

Returns the maximum value in the parameter list. Text and logical values (such as TRUE and FALSE) are also computed as numbers.

Function MAXA is similar to function MINA.

grammar

MAXA(value1,value2,…)

Value1, value2,… For the 1 to 30 parameters from which you need to find the maximum value.

Instructions

A parameter can be a number, a blank cell, a logical value, or a text expression of a number. If the parameter is an incorrect value, an error occurs.

If you cannot include text or logical values in the calculation, use the MAX worksheet function instead.

  • If the argument is an array or reference, only the values in the array or reference are used. Ignore empty cells and text values in arrays or references.
  • Arguments that contain TRUE are evaluated as 1; Arguments that contain text or FALSE are evaluated as 0.
  • If the argument does not contain any value, the function MAXA returns 0.
