Returns the probability that a value in the range falls within the specified interval.
If upper_limit is not given, return the probability that the value in the interval x_range is equal to the lower limit lower_limit.
grammar
PROB(x_range,prob_range,lower_limit,upper_limit)
X_range is a region of x values with their respective probability values.
Prob_range A set of probability values corresponding to each value in x_range.
Lower_limit is used to calculate the numerical lower bound of the probability of a function.
Upper_limit is used by a function to compute an optional upper bound on the probability.
Instructions
- If any value in prob_range is ≤ 0 or > 1, PROB returns the #NUM! Error .
- If the sum of all values in prob_range is greater than 1, PROB returns the error value #NUM! .
- The probability that PROB returns a value equal to lower_limit if upper_limit is omitted.
If x_range and prob_range have different numbers of data points, PROB returns the #N/A error value.
I want to create a clean, concise and efficient office reference manual, in order to maintain a good reference experience, I did not add any third-party advertisements in my blog, of course, if you are willing, you can watch the following video, it can bring me some income, so that I can better maintain the server to provide higher quality service, thank you for your help and support.
