CHISQ.DIST function

Returns the left-tail probability of the χ2 distribution.

grammar

CHISQ.DIST(x,deg_freedom,cumulative)

x is used to calculate the value of the distribution.

Deg_freedom Number of degrees of freedom.

cumulative If cumulative is TRUE, CHISQ.DIST returns the cumulative distribution function;

If FALSE, the probability density function is returned.

Instructions

If any of the arguments are non-numeric, CHISQ.DIST returns #VALUE! Error value.

If x is negative, CHISQ.DIST returns #NUM! Error value.

If deg_freedom is not an integer, it is truncated to be rounded.

If… 1 or deg_freedom > 10^10, CHISQ.DIST returns #NUM! Error value.
