BETADIST function Cumulative distribution function

Returns the Beta cumulative distribution function. The Beta cumulative distribution function is usually used to study the change of a certain part of the sample.

grammar

BETADIST(x,alpha,beta,A,B)

The value that X is used to perform the function computation lies between the upper and lower bounds of optionability (A and B).

Alpha distribution parameters.

Beta distribution parameters.

A Optional lower bound of the interval to which the value x belongs.

B Optional upper bound of the interval to which the value x belongs.

Instructions

■ If any argument is non-numeric, BETADIST returns the #VALVE! Error value. .

■ If alpha ≤ 0 or beta ≤ 0, BETADIST returns error #NUM! .

■ If x < A, x > B or A = B, BETADIST returns the #NUM! Error value. .

■ If A or B values are omitted, BETADIST uses the cumulative function of the standard beta distribution, i.e., A = 0, B = 1.
